Who will win the BA Certification war? I understand this will bring unity and consensus to the role of the Business Analyst however does there really need to be only one authority? Also if we do have one authority will this stop the natural evolution of the role?
I don't think the BA role can be limited to the same tools for every project. I'm also not so sure anyone has seen improved project management since the PMI certification has come into the mix. If anything, I think projects have become more mechanical, and less thought out.
ReplyDeleteFor BA Roles - I think there should be a few practice areas like Defining Business Requirements, Systems Design, Process Analysis, Data Warehouse Requirements and Design, Conversion Management...for starters.
