Six Sigma - What's the buzz?

I've run into a few six sigma black belts in the past few years. Most of these sounded like many of the BA's that lock into a methodology and try to take over the world with it. I've heard some good and bad about Six Sigma. What's the buzz? Do you think BA's should add it to their tool kit?
